The West Indies cricket team, nicknamed the Windies, is a men's team representing a group of Caribbean countries and is administered by Cricket West Indies. Founded in 1926, the team has a rich history, including periods of dominance in the 1970s and 1980s, and has won the ICC World Twenty20 twice (2012 and 2016).
